Parade Time!
Oh my goodness! I am falling behind on my blogger duties! It has been so busy lately that I have not had time to post anything. . . sorry girls! We had a great performance at Miss Casey County and a lot of fun working on our float for the Apple Festival Parade. I think everyone had fun on the parade route . . . except for the short spell of rain maybe! Since I stay busy at all of our events getting the girls ready and set up to go, I rarely have time to think about my camera, so I have no pictures of the girls at Miss CC, but my aunt emailed me this picture of our float which I thought was so neat! Although my dancers are on the other side, you can still see some of the middle school team and best of all you can see our beautiful dancer we worked so hard on!
I'll try to do better and keep up to date on my posts from now on!

Practice Makes Perfect!
The girls came into practice Thursday pumped up to perform at the pep rally on Friday. I shot down their enthusiasm quickly when I said I thought they weren't ready yet. They have worked very hard, but they have always said they wanted to have a big unveiling of our competition hip hop routine, and I just didn't think it was up to par yet. I told them they could ask our choreographer when she got there but I didn't think she would go for the idea either. Much to my surprise, she did. She was as excited as they were, and told them that if they wanted to perform they were going to have to work VERY hard at practice. And boy did they ever! They worked non-stop, cleaning each segment of the routine with few breaks, and showed Amber and I just how dedicated they really were. I was very impressed, and when they performed Friday, the crowd went crazy!! I was so proud of them, and although they had a few bobbles, and left out a few partner stunts that still need some work, they still rocked the pep rally! This was the best first performance ever for the CCHS Rebelettes, and it makes me very excited to see what happens through the rest of our season. GREAT JOB GIRLS!!!
Here are a few pics of the girls and Amber working super hard on Thursday. Unfortunately, the pep rally was so crazy that I didn't have time to get any pics of the performance!
